Tips to stay hydrated
Updated: Feb 9
Water.

We all need it, and it can be challenging to drink enough of it. Sometimes a glass of water is the LAST thing I want. But drinking enough water has many benefits. It helps to keep your body hydrated and functioning correctly, which can help with digestion, improve your skin complexion, reduce fatigue, and keep you energized. And, of course, there's the fact that drinking enough water helps to flush toxins from your body. So staying hydrated is essential for overall health and well-being.
As we come to the end of January, it's time to look at our goals for 2023 to be sure we're all on the right track. So here are some tips to ensure that your hydration is on point.
•Drink plenty of water throughout the day - aim to drink at least 64 ounces daily.
•Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables high in water content, such as cucumbers, watermelons, strawberries, and oranges.

•Avoid drinks high in sugar and caffeine, as these can dehydrate you.
•Make sure to drink water before, during, and after exercising to replace the fluids you lose through sweat.
•If you're having trouble drinking enough water, try flavoring it with fresh fruit or veggies or using a water bottle with a built-in infuser. (My favorite combo is cucumber and mint).

•Carry a water bottle with you throughout the day to get a sip whenever you need it.
•If you're feeling thirsty, drink water before reaching for sugary drinks or snacks.
If drinking more water is on your "to-do" list for 2023, I hope these tips can help you enjoy the benefits of being well-hydrated, such as increased energy levels, improved concentration, and better skin health.
