5 Simple Ways to Reduce Sugar Cravings

Sugar cravings are no joke. Am I right?


One of my goals in 2023 is to reduce my intake of processed sugary foods and drinks. So I've been researching the best ways to curb these cravings. These 5 tips are the things that are working best for me, so I wanted to share them.

  • Increase your protein and fiber intake. Protein and fiber can help you feel full longer, which can help reduce sugar cravings.

  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Staying hydrated can help regulate hormones and increase sugar cravings.

  • Avoid sugar-filled snacks. Instead, snack on healthier options like nuts, fruits, and vegetables.

  • Exercise regularly. Exercise has been shown to reduce stress, which can help decrease sugar cravings.

  • Get adequate sleep. Lack of sleep can increase sugar cravings, so ensure you get plenty of rest.
